Job description
- Design and develop solutions with .NET as a backend and Angular as a frontend;
- Translate business needs into robust architectures and application designs;
- Create, secure, and consume APIs to connect internal and external systems;
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and OpenID, and enforce security best practices;
- Develop unit, integration, and API tests to ensure code quality;
- Automate deliveries using DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps and YAML pipelines;
- Fix bugs, improve performance, and ensure system stability;
- Produce and maintain architecture, design, and operational documentation;
- Participate in ceremonies, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to the ongoing delivery of features.
- Have between eight (8) and ten (10) years of experience in software development, including expertise in full stack development in large environments;
- Proficiency in backend development with .NET Core and C#, as well as frontend development with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS, including an excellent understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns;
- Experience in designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs as well as integrating with internal systems and third-party services;
- Have a good knowledge of application security mechanisms, including OAuth and OpenID Connect;
- Demonstrate strong software quality skills, including the development of automated tests such as unit, integration, and API testing;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps and YAML configurations, as well as proficiency with tools such as Git, Visual Studio, and NuGet;
- Have good knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL;
- Understand modern architectures, including event-driven architectures and messaging tools such as Kafka or ActiveMQ;
- Knowledge of cloud environments as well as containerization technologies such as Docker and proficiency in modern development practices including Agile, DevOps, TDD, DDD and trunk-based development;
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while translating business needs into technical solutions;
- Demonstrate autonomy, proactivity and an ability to popularize technical concepts;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
