Job description
- Define the testing strategy, test plans and resource requirements for the projects;
- Analyze requirements, identify risks and ensure test readiness;
- Lead functional, integration, regression and system testing;
- Manage the follow-up of anomalies, lead triage meetings and validate releases;
- Mentor the QA analysts and automation engineers involved;
- Review QA test cases, scripts, and deliverables to ensure quality;
- Implement QA best practices, automation initiatives, and quality indicators;
- Promote shift-left practices and continuous improvement in the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
- Work closely with the ITQA team, the Product, Development and Project Management teams;
- Provide a clear report on quality status, risks and deadlines.
- Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of experience in QA/testing, including team leadership and proven participation in large-scale projects in large companies around the world;
- Have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
- Have hands-on experience with qTest for test management and reporting;
- Experience in automation (Tosca is an asset);
- Demonstrate experience with SAP S/4 modules;
- Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills;
- This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. Language skills in French and English are essential, both oral and written.
