Job description
- Design and develop microservices in Java with Spring Boot and Spring Batch;
- Implement high-performance and secure RESTful APIs;
- Integrate messaging solutions via MQ Server, Kafka or MFT;
- Work with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, by optimizing SQL queries;
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.);
- Design and develop custom apps with Power Apps;
- Automate workflows and processes with Power Automate;
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or other degree in computer science, or related;
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT as a back-end developer;
- Have familiarity with APIs: Cucumber, Swagger, and JSON;
- Understand data modeling and database design;
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and the Java language; Python experience would be an asset;
- Know DevOps tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Docker);
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
