Job description
- Develop full stack applications as a lead developer;
- Deliver applications using modern technologies;
- Serving internal and external customers by meeting their needs.
- Master backend development with TypeScript and Java/JEE (REST, Spring Boot, SOAP, microservices, and APIs);
- Demonstrate solid experience in developing front-end applications in JavaScript (React, TypeScript);
- Use DevOps methodologies and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, or Docker for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code;
- Leverage AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, VPC, EC2, S3, etc.);
- Manipulate containerization and orchestration technologies such as ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes;
- Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB or similar);
- Understand the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum) as well as testing practices (unitary, integration, end-to-end);
- Apply best practices for web application security;
- Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills;
- This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
