Job description
- Deploy and integrate ML/analytics pipelines and services;
- Integrate models developed by data scientists into robust, repeatable, and secure cloud environments;
- Design, build, and maintain Docker containers and ML microservices that can communicate reliably and securely;
- Implement APIs and endpoints to expose analytics and prediction services;
- Design the complete architecture of ML workflows: trigger mechanisms, communication between services, orchestration, and data flows;
- Define the functional and technical requirements to transform a model or proof of concept into an operational system;
- Automate CI/CD processes: automated testing, builds, security scans, versioning, and deployments;
- Implement scaling, redundancy, and resiliency mechanisms for ML services in production;
- Orchestrate ML workloads on Kubernetes/EKS when required;
- Ensure consistent integration between internal APIs, message queues (SQS), containerized services, training pipelines, monitoring systems, and databases;
- Define and maintain integration contracts (APIs, schemas, data formats, authentication);
- Monitor ML services in production: lifecycle, health, performance and availability;
- Implement monitoring and observability tools (logs, metrics, traces) for ML services and pipelines.;
- Implement basic ML monitoring: latency, errors, throughput, prediction and input data logging;
- Participate in incident analysis, fault diagnosis and continuous improvement of platforms;
- Document architectures, workflows, API calls, dependencies, and security constraints;
- Support the data and product teams in the use, evolution and industrialization of ML solutions;
- Contribute to the optimization of costs and efficiency of AWS architectures.
- Have two (2) to five (5) years of relevant professional experience;
- Hold a university degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field;
- Demonstrate a good understanding of distributed architectures, production systems, and cloud environments;
- Have hands-on experience in software development, including a mastery of Python;
- Have experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines;
- Master cloud architectures applied to machine learning, including serverless and containerized approaches;
- Understand microservices, event-driven and cloud networking (VPC) patterns;
- Be able to dockerize ML models and deploy inference microservices;
- Have functional knowledge of IAM mechanisms and cloud security;
- Possess sufficient understanding of Kubernetes / EKS to deploy and operate ML workloads;
- Be able to automate model training and deployment using pipelines;
- Be familiar with MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, Prefect, SageMaker Pipelines or equivalent);
- Be familiar with software quality practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and S.O.L.I.D. principles.
